Tea for Four

This lovely set up is at Filoli Gardens, an estate that is open to the public. It is set up behind a velvet rope, so there was no tea drinking allowed, just a lot of imagining what it must have been like to actually live in a house with a ballroom and a walk-in safe for the family silver.

And not to change the subject too much, but today (7/11) the 7-Eleven convenience stores were offering free 7.11-ounce slurpies to celebrate numerology. They plan to give away 7 million slurpees, with this warning: remember to avoid drinking your frozen treat too fast. You don't want to come down with a bad case of sphenopalatine ganglioneuralgia - or as we more commonly refer to it as, brain freeze.
