Science Museum

We were up early this morning as we were off to the Science Museum with friends to see the Cosmonauts exhibition. Have to say I knew nothing about it before getting there, as my friend had recommended and booked it, but I absolutely loved it.

It basically tells the story of the Russian space programme, concentrating on those crucial years from the late 1950's through to the 1980's. But as well as the scientific stuff, the exhibition manages to capture the flavour of the eras, (especially the 50's/60's) through art, actual video footage and memorabilia. Really fascinating.

Afterwards James and his friend found the interactive games in the engineering section and had great fun working out the problems whilst playing games.
