Drooping Daffodil
I liked the sun glistening of the frost/dew on the flowers in the garden this morning (the dew is clearer in the Extra). I still can't get used to the snowdrops, crocuses, daffodils and grape hyacinth all being in flower at the same time in mid-February!
'The field and garden’s lovely hours
Begin and end with thee;
For what’s so sweet, as peeping flowers
And bursting buds to see,
What time the dew’s unsullied drops,
In burnish’d gold, distil
On crocus flowers’ unclosing tops,
And drooping daffodil?'
