The world was white with frost when Jess and I set off for our morning walk, but by the time we got home, it was beginning to melt.
Today feels like the calm before the storm..."Strictly" begins tomorrow! So I have spent today trying to do stuff like food shopping and cooking.
I did find time for a swim, though...sadly, there are problems with the pool drainage and it's going to shut for a month. Just as I had got back into the water :-(
Also (more) sadly, another of the hillwalkers rescued yesterday has died. What a difficult time for their families..
