Rubbish blip

On my walk to and from work, I pass the David Lloyd Centre, which has a bank of earth by the side of it. This bank is very popular with bunny rabbits and there is a super warren there now. Anyway, that is besides the point. I have noticed that since the old shrubbery was cut back the bank is revealing loads of broken bits of China and what looks like old medicine bottles and the like. Just wondering if this is the location of an old rubbish dump or something.
