I learnt today that a corn (on the foot) translates from the German as 'chicken eye' (it's quite amazing what things I learn as I teach English - gave them 'mayor' and 'mare' today)

And spent time this afternoon 'helping' Little miss bossy with French (test tomorrow) - it really is a case of the blind leading the blind...
