Canal

Chilly but sunny morning, so took advantage of a day off to have a walk along the canal.  Inspired by LoveLupins' blip yesterday of the lock gates being replaced at 3 Rise Locks we went to have a look, but the old gates were still to be removed, so not a lot happening there.  

Was amused by some of the names on the narrow boats and couldn't choose between them hence the collage!  Extras show "a bird's eye view", view of swans from the cafe, and fence and gate angles from 5 Rise Locks.

Opening night of panto tonight - hope we all remember what we are doing!
