Purification & A Super Hero
There is something rather fabulous about the beach after a bout of high winds........all footsteps and lumps and bumps have been covered over with fine sand......it makes me think of a confessional (even though I am not religious) and all sins have been washed away ..the slate has been wiped clean...all ready for another crack at whoever one wants to have a crack at.
Visually the silky smooth sand took ones eye to the ocean...which today was pretty feisty..........and then to the sharp horizon.
The boy was drawn to the water........he stood on the beach and did a little Shamans dance....a few kung fu moves and ran into the water.....he was lost in his own super hero world chanting in a strange language to bring on his super powers... chest puffed out and the hands in tight little fists......running on the spot and then whoosh down to the water and into the waves.
Jaiya and I had a bit of a fight yesterday.......when they were out he said to his Mum 'when we get home you should say sorry to my Nanny'...dontcha just love that....he certainly is my super hero.
