Paper People

Today it was colourful inside the classroom and very grey and wet outside.  This class were working on paper sculptures.  A sort of 3D self portrait.  They made a cube from cartridge paper first and then had fun decorating with coloured paper.  I liked the accessories they added such as ipods, caps, sunglasses.  Here is Haylee patiently  holding the paper hair she has made against the cube until it stuck in place.  I liked the way she is sitting beside my wall display and you can see the photo of Jade from another class attaching a cap to her cube sculpture.  It was a fun project to start with and they seem to have enjoyed it.
