Shadow of the Sun

Finally.... a blip that's uploaded on time!!! If you've not seen my blip from yesterday check it out as it never got uploaded until after midnight due to catching up on blips. Thanks....

Tonight was supposed to be the Hotrod and Classic car meet at the Metrocentre. Due to the rain there was only a few cars there. An E reg Skoda being one of them.... probably the only one in existence. I remember that them and Lada's would maybe last a maximum of 5 years.

So because nothing was happening there and no real photo opportunities.(Rain doesn't show a car in its full glory) I went to Ikea which is just next to the Metro. I needed some under-bed storage boxes for moving back into the house... mainly because I own far too many dvds(approx 500). Whilst there I was having a wander and seen they were selling umbrellas(not flat-pack ones).

I thought this would be a good photo to show what actually happened today. In editing the picture I tried to give it a bit of a retro feel to it due to the rain spoiling my retro car filled night.

Also kind of fitting today because my mate who I met 5 year ago in Faliraki, Rhodes has just flown back out there this morning for his mates wedding. When we were there they put the music on by the pool at 6am every morning. It started with the same song every time..... Rhianna - Umbrella. As annoying as the song is, it does bring back good memories.

The title of the picture is also the name of a song by Audioslave....They're awesome... give them a listen.
