Chatsworth House
We've had a great day today and the weather has been lovely!
I left Kath's at 9 to meet up with my friend Karen, who was training her dogs in the morning. Kath joined us later and we trained our dogs too.
After training we went out for lunch at a place called 'Kath's Cafe' before we continued to Chatsworth House. We walked the dogs in the huge fields around the house. There were lots of sheep grazing and they most be very used to dogs, because they didn't move even when we were very close to them!
Unfortunately not everyone kept their dogs on leads. We saw one dog get hold of a sheep and chase it into the river. When the owner eventually caught her dog, she walked on without making sure the sheep was ok, so when Kath and I came back about 30 mins later, the sheep was still in the river trying to get up. The bank was too steep so the poor sheep was stuck there in the water. Kath rang the people at Chatsworth and they sent their shepherd out to rescue it. We saw the shepherd arrive, so the sheep should be ok now.
Karen had invited us for dinner tonight, so we went there as soon as we were sure the sheep was ok. Hero had rolled in dog pooh, so he needed a bath when we got there!
So it's been a very busy, but very nice day.
This is the Hazyland boys posing in front of Chatsworth House. Pretty isn't it?!
Night night everyone!
