Your response to yesterday’s blip has been amazing and I send you all a huge thank you.
 
There have been so many lovely comments, stars and hearts and I really can’t thank you all enough.
I will reply to you all individually, but it will take a couple of days – and I have a meeting/workshop this evening which means limited time on blip at the moment.
 
 
Today’s blip is a Cicada I found in my garden. Looking at the curved wing tips, I wonder if it has only recently emerged.
On searching the internet I think it is one of the Kikihia, a New Zealand native with 14 described species.
