Palm Trees & Ocean Breezes

We had such a beautiful sunny afternoon that I could not pass on Moira's request to look for pelicans and peacocks.  I know that is an unusual combination of birds to look for but we have a secret spot that usually yields a sighting of both birds.  Moira spotted her pelican with its head in the water fishing right away.  He entertained us for awhile.   Then a couple of gulls and snowy Egrets showed up but no peacocks.  Moira was disappointed but was very happy to skip up and down the pier, looking for birds, and sitting on a park bench enjoying the ocean breeze!  It was a sweet Florida moment!
