old farm house
Riverside Road where wilderness began in 1958. The last person on this road was Mr. Fleming not far from the farm house. The first time my father hunted deer, he drove to near here. He had purchased an 303 Enfield rifle at Simpson Sears. My father was excited because he saw lots of deer manure. We wandered in the forest. But we did not see deer. Eventually we met a man cutting firewood. My father mentioned the deer manure. The man told my father it was sheep manure and the sheep belonged to Mr. Fleming, last driveway on Riverside Road back then. That was the last time I hunted with my father.
