Gift from China

A surprise package arrived this morning from China,  a gift of tea from the mother of Wenbo, the student we hosted over Christmas in 2014.
 
He is now back in China and looking for work in Beijing in the film industry. 
 
He tells me that his short film, made while studying here, has won several awards.
 
The Harsh Light of Day was awarded The Outstanding Short Film by Xiamen Youth Short Film Festival  last year. And it was shortlisted by China Gold Rooster and Hundred Flowers Short film Festival in last month.

(In fact I have a small part in it-I did the voiceover of an older woman.)
