Skating on thin ice

In our garden is a trough, which have had a thin layer of ice this morning.
When I told this to my Hanullis, my figure skaters started to moan, that they will use one of the last opportunities for skating.
I found the ice layer much too thin, but at last I permitted it under the condition that I would stay with them for the safety  (...and for a blip ;-)  )

Result:
The ice was steady enough,and finally I had two happy Hanullis and a blip :-D
