Ready for take-off
My second ever blip on 1st May was of the monument to Other Archer Windsor, 6th Earl of Plymouth.
Since then I have frequently considered it for another blip but, though it is an imposing edifice, it is surprisingly difficult to take an interesting photo of it.
Today I was caught in a torrential downpour on my lunchtime walk, followed immediately by a spell of very warm sunshine which caused the rain to evaporate very quickly, just as I found myself walking past the monument. It adds that little bit of interest I have been looking for.
It does look a little bit like a rocket preparing for blast off.
