Stamens

It's not a day for outside photos. 

I went trawling round the house and liked the colour of these stamens with the rich red background of this Amaryllis.  I think they look a bit like loofahs.

Had a rather successful evening at the photo club last night with a second, a third and a highly commended. Last month I got a first,  two highly commended and a commended.   That means I am second in the overall standing.  It's my first year at the club so I wonder if they will let me stay next year!
