Birthday cake

I spent a busy day getting ready for a visit to Essex.
It is my brother in laws 75th birthday, my contribution to the party is to bring the cake. It needed decorating, which took longer than expected.
I had also promised to take my sister a venison casserole so that needed cooking.
Then all the tidying and packing, and then a long journey to discover the M11 closed near Stanstead and a horrible diversion, the things we do in the name of a holiday!
