I've not always liked all his stuff, but this dvd and double cd offering is surely a testament to what can be achieved, regardless of age. Ok, there's a fair bit of talent thrown in, but to this leaden fingered fumbler, at least, this is a huge inspiration. Either that, or just chuck the guitar away in a fit of inferiority!
