We are spending a week at a luxury lodge in the North of South Africa, only 15 km from the famous Kruger National Park. This area is very fertile and there are fruit plantations everywhere. We bought 15 bananas, 6 mangoes, 10 avocadoes and a bag of macadamia nuts for R50, the equivalent of about 3 Euros or 2 pounds 50 pence! And they taste delicious too!
