Folly

Last few of the controls tagged for the bike orienteering in March. On a cold and very wet Wednesday there was not much to see. The best I could come up with was this pyramid folly on the Castle Howard Estate. I had to add a dramatic effect to enhance it.

It was designed by Nicholas Hawksmoor and houses a bust of Lord William Howard. It has recently been renovated so I was pleased to see the scaffolding had been removed.
