Pasos Practise

We had a few days holiday in Seville.
Most of the day spent travelling and trying not to be late due to storm
cancelled trains. Had a walk around in the evening and I saw these men carrying what looked like a large, heavy table down the street.
They are called costaleros and are actually training for Semana Santa, the Holy Week festival when large religious statues are carried through the street on these platforms. They can carry the platform or pasos for many hours, so preparation is key.
