Scout crawls to the crest of the hill, under the shade of the pines.  Creeping towards Angus, she stops still, crouching - neck extended, blazing-intense stare.  Then - zoom!  She flies down the other side, zooming, twisting, and turning at breakneck speeds. Abrupt changes of direction of motion throw Angus off her tail. 

Velocity and acceleration are the only vectors in this fast-motion snowstorm.
