Roses are...

I bought some roses on the day after Valentines Day so as to take advantage of the plummet in cost and to use them to practice my photography skills on.

I managed to take some great photos but was let down by technology so currently only have one photo, not the best, on my device to upload. I decided then to hone in on my editing skills instead giving the roses a bit more definition and a wonderful purple tint. I have added the original picture as my +1 for comparison.
