Inhaling Scallops

We are celebrating my dad's birthday a day early this year. He's been informed his presence is required at another event tomorrow! So we've all got together today - my two sisters and their other halves are busy cooking up a Spanish storm in the kitchen so I'm on Best Aunty duty. No one told me that it would involve my cheeky nephew stealing the scallops from my plates to inhale... And the little scally-wag dropped a lump of bread in my wine too.
