What a difference a day makes

Its been such a lovely day today and a very busy one. Had to go to various places in and around Cockermouth today and had Bonnie with me. I had a free slot of abut 40 minutes during the morning and took her for a little walk in a little village near Dean and it was obviously a very horsey village as lots of stables and we saw this beautiful statue of a horse grazing alongside a small private lake. Great I thought, that's today's blip sorted. Yes I know famous last words!

On the way home this afternoon we went along the coast road and as the weather was so nice how could I not resist stopping for a short while and walking on the deserted beach. We walked right up to the sea edge and the tide was coming in. I found a nice stick for Bonnie to carry which of course she enjoyed. I'm really surprised at how warm the sea is and would have loved to have had time for a paddle, maybe next time :)
