A Sunset Silhouette

I waited 30 minutes for the blue heron to fly off of the post. He/she never got airborne.

It was one of "those days"...those special bird days that come around every once in a while. Ospreys and herons and egrets and pelicans...oh my!

I stuck around until the sun went down. As it turned out, I left too early. On my way home, the skies REALLY lit up. I should have known to stay.
