Pre-Valentine's Date at London

Mintonians at Canary Wharf, London! Kenny, me, Zeinab and Sophia! Finally this trip materialized. We have been planning this for so long and it finally happened.

Honest to goodness, i felt like a tourist in London when we went around Canary Wharf. It was like an entire new world and it is just a few minutes away from central London where i frequently loiter. Canary Wharf is the more modern part of London.

We dined at Big Easy inside Roof Garden. I ordered the humonguos crab and i didnt regret paying 18.50GBP for it. As usual it was a challenge (and messy!) to eat it but every bit of the crab meat was heaven. I would have wanted to order (share) the 20GBP lobster but it was only Zeinab who was interested in having it with me but could not because she was not sure if she can eat it. We googled and it seemed like she is not allowed to eat it. While i was in the middle of eating my crab, her dad messaged her and said that she was actually allowed to eat lobster. Darn! too late! We surprised Zeinab with a birthday song from the Big Easy waiting staff as well and it was so much fun. She seemed surprised with the gesture although i thought she should have known by then after two groups were given a birthday song number by the waiting staff. We got to have a free scoop of vanilla ice cream from the restaurant.
