Our Valentine's Day surprise

The photo is terrible but sometimes it's just about capturing that moment. To me this photo captures love.
Yesterday Olivia spent a lot of time in her bedroom preparing a surprise for us. She needed four Creme eggs and she asked if we could take her to the local market so that she could buy some flowers this morning. When this was all done we were told to assemble in the room where we eat. She had prepared a treasure hunt and we had to find the clues which she had hidden throughout the house. She had made every clue rhyme which was brilliant. Eventually the clues led us up to the play area where she had placed a blanket over a small table (like a tablecloth), placed the vase of flowers in the middle and placed the four Creme eggs on plates for us all to enjoy. She had made a couple of posters, one telling us how much she loved us all! She worked so hard on preparing all of this for us that I just melted and so did hubby who just wanted to hug his little girl. After we'd eaten the Creme eggs Olivia put the disco glitter ball on, pumped up the music and made us all dance. It was a lot of fun! She is such a creative loving little soul.

As it was a cold dreary old day we decided to go and play indoor mini golf this afternoon which is always good fun. Hubby still leads the way with the lowest score but the gap is definitely narrowing between us all. It's not going to be long before this activity becomes highly competitive!
