40 Acts

This year, during Lent, the children at school have been asked to do something a little different. Instead of giving something up, they have been asked to try to complete 40 acts of kindness. There is a chart that has an idea for each day. Once they've completed one of the 'acts,' they initial it and put a heart on our totaliser! We, as teachers, are also trying to do something kind everyday. To that end, I have just finished making a batch of flapjacks for the staff. (Don't tell them, but they may need to use a spoon to eat them! Too much syrup me thinks!)
