Early Morning Mallard

Beautiful day with a frosty start.
I went out early with TheAphid to check out the frost, but it wasn't as photogenic as the last time.
This afternoon I had mooch up at Les Landes in search of the short-eared owl with no success. On the way home I popped to the Wetlands Centre and The Scrape but everything was too far away for the zoom.
So this drake is from our early morning walk by the reservoir.
