Frost rimed thyme
It was cold here this morning; the coldest night of the winter thus far. As I type this there will be howls of derision from Bavaria and I can hear even louder calls from Canadaland that I don't know what cold means and that Bavarians don't either. The Queen of Canadaland recently tweeted a photo of the snow on her patio and Martin, who is in Abroad near Canada, posted a smashing shot of ice waves on Lake Michigan. George often shows wonderful blips of Bavarian snow fields while thus far this year we've had the barest sprinkling of the white stuff. But that doesn't change the fact that it was cold here this morning - you might have more colder weather but we still had cold. While I've been writing this the BBC Weatherlady (I only trust the BBC Weather people, ITV just make it up) has threatened snowmagedon!
Of course none of that matters or really influenced this blip - the reason you got this was because as soon as I saw the frost the title of this blip sprang to mind..............
