G and I are gradually working our way through a selection of fruit and veg that we've never tasted before, and on the last shop bought some Shanon fruit. They're extremely sweet, and though they taste nothing alike, remind me in their texture and flesh markings of kiwis.

Today was a bit of a hectic work day, but was brightened by a lunchtime visit (and share of the Shanon) from my Mum, and this evening a friend invited us over for a very tasty North African feast.
