Arches in Mallorca

Today's Blip is a collage of similar ......but distinctly different......Arches in Mallorca.

The top photo might be the most familiar, as these are the Arches in one of Palma's most famous and well known shopping streets.... Avinguda Jaume III....the home of some rather expensive and sophisticated shops and boutiques ......
a busy, bustling commercial centre.

While below, are the Arches of The Cloisters of the Convent of St. VIncenc Ferrer.....built in the 17th Century....in the inland town of Manacor. The Convent is now home to the Manacor Municipal Library......a calm and quiet centre for study and research.
