Land Rover Lundi
You lot with your Derelict Sundays, Flower Fridays and depressing Mono Mondays. I got my photography course week 5 or is 6, email on Thursday and when I saw the title "Black & White", I didn't even open it.
We need colour in our lives - just look at all my Blips of horses, dogs and geese. So have now started a new Monday challenge - Land Rover. This is a REAL challenge, one for REAL men, well at least if you live in Bavaria.
So here is my first entry. Hope you like the colours. I have a good chance of meeting the challenge for the next two weeks and have an inkling where I might get a fourth but that may be the end. Todays victim was parked next to a Mercedes SUV with at first glance also a good licence plate but I don't think Mercedes ever built a "GL 55".
The cars were both from out of towner's, probably architects earning a fortune on the building in the background. They were both parked on Ottobeuren's main public car park (there are no charges anywhere in the town). I wonder if they will find their cars again, there are after all at least 12 spaces. Today in Munich the police asked via radio for a man who had reported his car as "Lost" six months ago to contact them as they had found it. From a town an hour from Munich he had driven there, parked in a multi-storey and later couldn't remember where, having left the ticket in the car. The police had seemingly not registered his contact address. The now very dusty car attracted the attention of the car park owner..The owner has now been found and very generously the charges reduced from 2,400 Euros (more than the car is worth) to 100!
Now very importantly - Happy Birthday Bliper Angelique, the last of all the wonderful Aquarians I know. I couldn't mention her the other day as it is bad luck to pre-empt the event.
