podding peas

Euan loves peas. I had bought loads of fresh peas as it was on a bogof offer, but they were starting to look a bit limp so i decided to cook them for tea. Euan helped to pod the first few, then he helped himself out the bowl!

Started today with a swim. Auntie Emily came too and Euan enjoyed leaping off her and swimming in underwater circles. Rhona did another underwater swim today, with the same result as last time. She did another scary breath hold, then another mega loud screaming cry. She was fine after but the pool was cold so I got out and fed Rhona and left Emily and Euan to enjoy the waves.

Home for lunch then a long nap for Euan and Rhona both. I managed to get some of the project I have on the go done, so am very pleased. Hope to get some more done this evening while I have Emily to keep Rhona amused.

Tea was a stew out the freezer with the peas from the picture and some chips, as I didn't have any potatos to make the potato wedges I had planned! It was delicious and Euan ate most of his too, so it must have been ok. Euan is off to bed and has already been out and back a few times. Hopefully will sleep soon.
