Love is....
We have a 100 year old English Lime tree in our section and this year it has fallen head over heals in love and is flowering it’s head off….enthusiastically.
Mating and reproduction thingies take place between trees all the time (all that rustling in the woods) and no one really notices and every year our Lime tree sends it’s seeds out into the world on tiny hang gliders which spin like helicopter blades and float down to be picked up and discarded by The Boss in the interests of a tidy lawn.
You could say that love is a bit like that but sometimes not as pretty.
It blooms and flowers and things can sometimes get a bit complicated after that.
The Boss and Bossess went to a wonderful celebration last weekend when things had bloomed, flowered and stayed blooming for 50 + years.
And then a friend on Blip talked of other outcomes and The Boss got all thoughtful and played with his proper camera for some time and ignored me completely.
I didn’t mind.
It wasn’t grub time.
It wasn’t walk time.
But I still followed him faithfully as he went in and out of the garden so many times that he drove me almost to distraction.
But he didn’t.
