the nuthatches

Today was Family Day here in Ontario, it was a holiday. The day started out sunny but as the day wore on the clouds rolled in and the freezing rain began to fall. I made it out for a walk in the park to visit the birds once again it was warmer but damp that made it feel just as cold as yesterday.

When I was out today I had a mother and her two boys watch me feeding the chickadees the younger boy wanted to try and was successful feeding the chickadees. He enjoyed it so much he did not want to leave.

I liked this shot of the nuthatches watching me in the tree, a few moments later flew down and got some food.
