       How to show love in an image?  We show love through action.  And of course the Greeks had words (see extra) for four loves: storge, phileo, eros, and agape.  Symbols of love?  Pomegranate, apple, tomato, Celtic knot, spoon, claddagh ring, heart . . ..?  Love letters.

       Thoughts turn to romantic love at this time of the year.  I wonder why the letters of John Paul II to Anna-Teresa Tymieniecka have been disclosed now?
