Valentines Day

First day we have hung the washing out!  We can't remember the day of our first date, so we hold the 14th January to be the day and celebrate that. - 34 years ago in Saudi Arabia.  The following year I bought a dozen red roses for £150, but over the years 14th Jan holds far more meaning for us and that is when we splash out.  Valentine's Day is meant to be the date that birds start mating - and there were a lot around.  We just enjoy the things that make being together fun and spending the day in the garden, taking the garden waste to the tip and all the other chores grounds us.
