Trumpets and Stars

I've begun looking more closely at flowers and plants, as part of my resolve to pay more attention to what is around me and be 'present in the moment' (good mindfulness practice). This planting outside Derby Bus Station caught my eye today - I don't know what it's called but I hope one of my horticulturally-informed friends will enlighten me.
What attracted me to it was the variety of shapes and forms -  trumpet-like flower bells, spiky leaves forming stars, drops of rain resting on them. Nature is so generous in its infinite variety, there is always something to make one stop and stare.
