Jehovah-jireh

The word for jireh in the old testament literally means 'to see'.
The word see denotes provision.
Since He is God, when He sees, He foresees.
The all - knowing, ever - present , eternal Father knows the end from the beginning and thus in His omniscience, He provides.

Not only has Jehovah foreseen my need for salvation and made provision through the death and resurrection of His Son, but He also sees my day by day needs.

Philippians 4 : 19
And this same God who takes care of me
( Paul) will supply all your needs from His glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.
