SPECIAL NIGHT.....

.... as a lot of you are aware, much of my time is involved in "putting back" to the community by way of awareness for Prostate Cancer following a diagnosis and successful op back now 3 years. 

Our Support Group is one of the largest and strongest in Australia, and we lead the way in many things offered in support for Prostate Cancer sufferers, survivors and carers (wives and partners).

Our founding member Alan Moran was honoured late last year with receiving from the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia the "Max Gardner Award"  which is given for outstanding and significant contributions to Prostate Cancer groups.

Tonights meeting had Mr Steve Callister the Deputy National Chairman  from the PCFA present Alan with his prestigious award, the highest award given in Australia. Alan himself still battling prostate cancer has just been advised after further treatment, of holding it at bay for the time.
