I helped out with a Thames foreshore clean-up a couple a few years ago in Greenwich and we cleared up tons of rubbish over a couple of hours. The tide washes up a huge amount each day in Greenwich and I always like to have a look over the side to see what it's brought in. There always seems to be a ball or two there, lost shoes, many plastic bottles, the occasional dead rat and at one time, a lot of floating coconuts! Today I spotted a long piece of wood down on the shore with a line-up of oyster shells placed on the top. I love a shell, even a common old oyster shell and I thought this arrangement was rather eye-catching!
I'm really looking forward to visiting my sister tomorrow for a couple of days. I'll catch up with your blips when I return x
