Happy birthday!!

We are staying at the Union Jack Club, just behind Waterloo Station. After a hearty breakfast, more than I would ever eat at home, we set out to walk east bound.
 
My days out with old nursing colleagues in London has introduced me to many places that B hasn’t visited, so today we are on one of my walkabouts!!!
 
We saw the Golden Hind, Southwark Cathedral and Borough Market, before riding to the 32nd floor of the Shard for a lunchtime cocktail!! In negotiations with two ladies for a window table my birthday was mentioned and when our drinks arrived I received these birthday wishes!!
 
We then went to the Fashion and Textile Museum to see an exhibition on Liberty, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Fashions of the ‘70’s, a time when I made most of my own clothes, brought back many memories.
 
In the evening we attended the Worshipful Company of Educators dinner at Painters Hall. Another interesting evening meeting and talking to fascinating strangers.
