Making Friends and Influencing People

G went to spend the day with his parents, and I had a lovely walk with a friend and the dogs she's dog-sitting. They're a bit bonkers, but if you walk dogs, you also get to talk to all the other dogs, which is obviously excellent.
I went over to Mum's for a chat in front of the log fire, with the log theme continuing in the evening when we started to watch Twin Peaks. I've been meaning to watch it for years, but somehow never got round to it. We got in the pilot and three episodes, and already thoroughly hooked.
