Blogging the past

I've finally started putting my thoughts into words, and started putting some blog posts together. Thought I'd start with a course review of a 1950s vintage style hat course I did in 2014. Needed to take some more photos to illustrate the words, so useful for today's blip!

I still haven't lined it, but I think it shows the construction method well. The foundation is made from sinamay, the top is covered with a cream satin, over which is black devore velvet.
