It Just Got Better
Firstly, thank you so much for the lovely comments stars and hearts for yesterdays Aurora, it was a very special evening.
The first day on the island of Senja, Norway, was just breathtaking. We took a tour and were in awe of the scenery and warmed by the friendliness of the locals we met. Picking a photo is I'm afraid a random affair I have just posted a selection. Days like this make photography so enjoyable and easy.
So a list of the pics; our hotel and harbour in Hamn is first up. Then a visit to a Fish factory. These single manned boats came in with cod to the value of GBP 9,000. Most of the men here fish during the 2 winter months that the cod are in the fjord, they say the factory smells of money! I will spare you photos of the processing. Next up is Devils Teeth, jaw dropping. Then a road side scene of a fjord. Then a snow covered beach ! Last but not least ANOTHER AURORA ;-) this one more spectacular than last night and lasted over an hour. Can you see the Alien in the sky of the last shot ?
Apologies if this entry is more like an album, but I am just loving this place.
