Shetland Moorland

I find the moorland in the hills above the village to be a magical place no matter what the weather. In fact I'd go so far to say it is my favourite part. It was truly magical today with a thin covering of snow and bitingly cold despite the sunshine. Ravens, Hares, Snipe and Curlew keeping the dog an I company.
What we don't get enough of are these types of conditions with no wind.
